Konto und Daten löschen
Diese Seite gilt für die App Sheeptastical für Android und iOS. Das Konto in der App ist ein anonymes Zufallskonto ohne Anmeldung; welche Daten daran hängen, steht in der Datenschutzerklärung der App.
Weg 1: direkt in der App
Öffne im Hauptmenü die Einstellungen (Zahnrad), dann Konto, dann Spielstand löschen (Mülleimer). Nach deiner Bestätigung wird der Spielstand auf dem Gerät gelöscht und die Verbindung zwischen Gerät und Konto getrennt.
Dein Spielername bleibt dabei auf dem Server reserviert, damit du das Konto über eine Google- oder Apple-Verknüpfung später zurückholen kannst. Sollen auch die Server-Daten vollständig weg, nimm zusätzlich Weg 2.
Weg 2: Löschung anfordern, auch ohne App
Schreib eine formlose E-Mail mit deinem Spielernamen an sheeptastical(at)codiri.ai, etwa mit dem Betreff „Konto löschen". Das geht auch, wenn du die App bereits deinstalliert hast.
Damit niemand fremde Konten löschen lassen kann, prüfen wir, ob das Konto wirklich dir gehört: Hast du es in der App mit deinem Google- oder Apple-Konto verknüpft, schreib uns von genau dieser E-Mail-Adresse. Ohne Verknüpfung fragen wir gegebenenfalls Angaben ab, die nur du kennen kannst (zum Beispiel benutztes Schaf, ungefährer Bestwert oder ein Kaufbeleg).
Was gelöscht wird
- das anonyme Konto selbst (die Zufallskennung)
- dein Spielername
- deine Läufe und Bestenlisten-Einträge
- die Spielstand-Sicherung (Cloud-Backup)
- die Ereignisse der Nutzungsstatistik
- eine etwaige Verknüpfung mit deinem Google- oder Apple-Konto samt der dabei übermittelten Kennung und E-Mail-Adresse
Danach ist dein Fortschritt unwiederbringlich weg. Käufe wickeln Google Play beziehungsweise der App Store ab; die Belege dazu liegen bei den Stores und unterliegen deren Bestimmungen.
Wie lange das dauert
Wir löschen in der Regel innerhalb weniger Tage nach der Prüfung, spätestens innerhalb eines Monats (Artikel 12 Absatz 3 DSGVO). Eine darüber hinausgehende Aufbewahrung gelöschter Daten gibt es nicht.

Delete your account and data
This is a translation for convenience; the German version above is the binding one. It covers the Sheeptastical app for Android and iOS. The account in the app is an anonymous random account with no sign-up; what data is tied to it is described in the app's privacy policy.
Option 1: right in the app
In the main menu open the settings (gear), then Account, then Delete save (trash can). After you confirm, the progress on the device is deleted and the link between device and account is severed.
Your player name stays reserved on the server so you can reclaim the account later via a linked Google or Apple account. If you want the server data gone completely as well, also use option 2.
Option 2: request deletion, no app needed
Send an informal email with your player name to sheeptastical(at)codiri.ai, for example with the subject "Delete my account". This also works if you have already uninstalled the app.
So that nobody can have someone else's account deleted, we verify that the account is really yours: if you linked it to your Google or Apple account in the app, write to us from that very email address. Without a link we may ask for details only you can know (such as the sheep you used, your approximate best score or a purchase receipt).
What gets deleted
- the anonymous account itself (the random identifier)
- your player name
- your runs and leaderboard entries
- the progress backup (cloud save)
- the usage statistics events
- any link to your Google or Apple account, including the identifier and email address transmitted with it
After that your progress is gone for good. Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store; their receipts remain with the stores under their own terms.
How long it takes
We usually delete within a few days of the verification, and at the latest within one month (Article 12(3) GDPR). Deleted data is not retained beyond that.
